it's been a few days since i've posted anything.... SORRY.... as some of u know i was in Chicago for a couple of days... didn't bring my laptop because i got kind of lazy to carry it & i figure that i needed a break also...
so my trip was great. i got to hang out with some really cool people who had me laughing during the whole thing..... i also got to watch Cesaria perform....
her performance was nice as always... as funny as it sounds while watching her perform i start laughing at times... yeah while on stage waiting for her turn to sing she starts talking to her musicians or she'll start messing with the audience.... every once in a while she gets the crowd going by teasing them with a little dance... & man does Chicago love Cesaria Evora... u just had to be there.
sorry didn't get any pictures of her.... my slacker ass was supposed to be there earlier during the day to hang out & do the whole back stage thing... but i got distracted.... i was at the mall ;-D when the show was about to start.... starting time 8:pm.... when i asked for the time it was 7:45pm... had to run back to the hotel, take a quick shower, get dressed, take a cab to the venue.... so u know things were crazy.... well u could always blame it on Carlos her front of the house engineer (someone needs to take the blame right)... i only went to the mall as a favor for him even dough i had to buy something for myself also ;-d... but than as i was leaving being the girl that i am i walked into a store and started shopping for a few hours.... pretty much tried on everything in there ;-} but i got this dope ass dress & some other good stuff... just in case u'll didn't know i am a really slow person.... i think that i was born late & i am going to die late also ;-% i do things as i feel... don't like to be rushed... so sometimes i miss out on things which is alright by me...
so after the show we went to diner which was crazy... yeah our last night in Chicago we went to this spot down from the hotel which is open until 4:am... the server was this really cool Polish girl who had everyone at the table going.... every night after the show the boys go out drinking... u know a whisky or two... got to meet some more crew members who were really cool also..... first off Mim, well i think that's how u say or spell his name.... if not than it's all good.... gave him the name ketchup as a joke for something that happen while sitting at the table eating... i am still laughing... anyways his the guy that plays violin while they are touring in America.... very funny guy... than there's Eric i think.... man the memory goes every once in a while when it comes to names... my new crazy French friend.... very funny, nice & OFF THE HOOK.... almost convinced me to go along with them to Madison.... YEAH taught about it but CHICAGO WAS ENOUGh...
i took some pictures while at the restaurant but it's not all that.... everyone was acting camera shy & they were getting upset at my camera because as some of u'll know for some crazy ass reason my flash is too strong... man can no camera mess with it.... one year at Sheldon's birthday party we spent half of the party in a black out & the camera came through like it should...
