for all you Serato lovers out there just in case you didn't know Scratch LIVE update their software... the new version is 1.8.0... it's off the hook.
one of the good things about it... actually 2... something that we are really happy about is now it finally supports AAC files so you know you have more space on your hard drive and also you don't have to be connected to the external piece to play your music. yeeeeaaaah, about time!!!

now the only problem is we have a lot more reading to do.

the Red Bull Music Academy is accepting applications for 2008. this year the first session will be from September 21 to October 3, and the second one from Oct 12 to the 24th... it's held in Barcelona Spain.
the application must be post marked by May 5th so get on it if your interested.
and yes anyone can apply so go for it. everything is paid for so it won't hurt to try.

what a beautiful day it is today. hope everyones enjoying it because it won't last long... it's getting cold again tomorrow. don't go too crazy either... we know how some of you get on a day like today. and you know it's gonna get cold latter on so make sure that if you go out tonight that you have an extra something to bundle you up.

make sure to have some fun for us. really missing it right about now. haven't been there in a very long time. Brian always keeps you going and if you ever get bored you can always go upstairs to check out the guest djs... they have new ones every week.
ok we lied... yes we did. you can never get bored because the music is dope and the other good thing about the night is that it's underground so you always find the dopest dancers around... they come as far as Japan and we ain't lying about this one. Ejoe one of the host is a great dancer and he lived in Japan. those kids really admire him. the other host is Red his sister... loves her. she gots it going on... this girl's on point. and of course Brian Coxx the dj... loves him too. make sure to get a cd from him. we collect those also.

A GREAT FILM

so we watched this great film the other night called ricordati di me - remember me my love. a must see. it's an italian film so get ready to do some reading if you don't understand. we know what some of you must be thinking... i hate subtitles. this one is worth it so don't sleep. it's kind of weird at first but as it goes on it gets crazy in a good way. loved it & watched it twice.

you didn't expect us to tell you about the film did you? no, no you need to go rent it.

so we hear that Toots and the Maytals are performing at the Paradise Rock club in boston tonight. hope y'all have fun. for those of you who don't know who they are here's a little clip. we are going back old school. enjoy.

HARVARD SQUARE IS POPIN!

so we went out last night with a friend and had a really great time. went to the Red Line to hear DJ K.C.
if you love music and dancing, i mean really dancing you know the lifting your arms and letting your self go type well that's the place to be on fridays. K.C. be doing his thang. the night is made up of all types of humans... yellow, purple, pink you know all types and everyones just there to have fun dancing the few hours that we have to enjoy in this town away. make sure to get one of his cd's when you see him, it's a must have... we collect them. the one that is being killed at the moment is the Redline mix. what on replay all day. oh and if you love Sade ask him for that one also... well if he still has it. that one is gonna be a classic.

HELLO TO ALL.
u must be thinking what kind of blogger is this? well one that is so so bored with life or where they are at the moment that they have lost all interest. need to go somewhere... that's what we always say. was just in Miami a few months ago... was there for one month, returned to boston then went to D.C. for a week. now ready to go to a new spot. the only problem at the moment is where. where to go? really starting to bored self. anyways taught we share a little.
on the bright side there are going to be some new bloggers coming on board... can't wait it's going to be really exciting.

so tonight we will be doing a show face @ our favorite spot on thursdays... u know where that be... it's the Black Rep of course. we didn't go last week so tonight it's on. they are doing this whole Funana thing... can't wait. it's gonna be good.
